Storeboard

Terms of service

Effective 1 October 2026

What you are buying

A subscription to Storeboard for one store, billed monthly through Stripe at the price shown when you sign up. A second store is a second subscription. The plan you choose decides which features are on; you can move between plans from your account page and the difference is charged or credited straight away.

Paying

Your card is charged each month in advance. If a payment fails you keep access for seven days while Stripe retries the card and emails you; after that the workspace is locked until it is paid, and nothing in it is deleted. A workspace that signs up and never pays is removed after thirty days.

Cancelling

Cancel from your account page at any time. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Closing a workspace (also from the account page) removes it and cancels the subscription immediately; that cannot be undone, and we do not refund the part of the month that is left unless the law where you are says we must.

Your store's records

Everything you and your team put in — the rota, the hours, the tasks, the messages, the photos — is yours. We hold it to run the service and for nothing else, as the privacy page says. You are responsible for what you put in it, for having the right to put it there (a person's phone number, a photograph of someone barred from the premises), and for how your store uses it under the employment and privacy laws that apply to you.

Your team

You decide who has a login and what each one may do. A manager acts with the permissions you gave them; the phone assistant acts with the permissions of whoever holds its key. Keep the shared screen's password and people's PINs to your store.

What we promise, and what we do not

We aim to keep the service available around the clock and take a copy of every database every day. We do not promise it will never be down, and we are not liable for wages, orders or anything else that turns on the software being available at a particular moment — keep a paper backup of the week's rota if a missed shift would matter. Our total liability to you in any twelve months is limited to what you paid us in those twelve months.

Acceptable use

Do not use Storeboard to break the law, to hold details about people you have no business holding, or to attack the service or other customers. We can suspend a workspace that does, and will tell you why.

Changes

If the price or these terms change, owners are told by email at least thirty days before it takes effect, and can cancel before then.
